The owners of Galloways of Woburn are proud to announce some exciting news about the future of the Grade II listed building.

After two hugely successful years, the owners of Galloways of Woburn are now seeking new management to take their property to the next level.

Pam and Ash have invested more than £1million into an impressive refurbishment of the building – including a new four skylight restaurant, extended kitchens, new disability-friendly toilets with baby changing facility, private function room with restrooms upstairs and a patioed outside garden. Despite looking for someone new to run the property, the couple will still maintain the ownership of these beautiful buildings.

This decision was not taken lightly. As everyone knows, Pam and Ash loved every moment with their customers out on the restaurant floor, but were living a double life with their extremely busy day jobs. Unfortunately Pam’s health took a turn in the last month, which has meant she had to make changes to her lifestyle and let go of some of the things she loves so much.

The new management will explore further opportunities with our new look restaurant and take it to the next step. For Pam and Ash, it’s now time to start a new chapter.

Pam said: “It has been a privilege to have turned Galloways of Woburn into a thriving and successful hotspot in Woburn, where customers choose to celebrate their most special occasions with loved ones.

“We are sad to be stepping back from our venture that has brought so much joy and happiness over the last two years. Despite this, we know the building that stores so many memories for us will still be in our ownership. We will be carefully selecting who will move into our building to make sure that personal touch is maintained with someone unique and special in order to maintain Woburn’s highest standards.

“Meanwhile we would like to thank everyone who has supported us since May 2017 and been part of our transformative journey.

“As well as our loyal customers, we’d like to raise a glass to our innovative chefs and hard-working staff whose efforts make this a five-star establishment. Here’s to new beginnings.”

A sneak peak behind the scenes of our £1million refurbishment…

Challenging building work over the last two years has totally transformed the restaurant.

Now as you walk in you’ll find an extended bar area where you can relax and enjoy a drink.

Follow through to the back area of the restaurant and you’ll see an impressive orangery, which is a brand new space for customers to dine.

The four large skylight will let in the sunshine over summer days, controlling the hot temperatures with the latest tech air-conditioning systems installed and allow you to have dinner under the stars by night. Or if you want to get outside for some fresh area, there’s now a beautiful patio area overlooking the gardens.

Now it’s time to say goodbye to our diners. We wish you all the very best and look forward to you enjoying the building with the new management.
